The Men In Blazers National Team was born three years ago. Its inspiration were the San Marino and Gibraltar National teams who battled elite European powers with starting elevens composed of part-time barmen/defenders and policemen/strikers. We began to imagine an American team composed of the United States’ finest amateurs. Over 3,000 GFOPs volunteered to trial. Yet despite frequent faxes challenging both San Marino and Mighty Gib to a game (Our tag line, “We have Passion. We have Respect. We have Air-Miles."), we are yet to receive a response.
To kill the time whilst we search for an actual opponent to play, we have partnered with our friends at Adidas to conjure a Men In Blazers National Team jersey in a limited batch.
The shirt’s design inspiration is the Peruvian 1978 World Cup jersey with its simple, yet startling, crisp, red, diagonal band. Adidas were able to follow our exacting design specifications to create a high performance, Tweed-inspired design, making this world football’s first ever tweed-inspired jersey. To finish off the design, Enoch Morishima conquered all comers in our Jock Tag design competition. His delicate creation is affixed bottom left. #BeatSanMarino #DaddyWants
Available in S-2XL in Men's, and S-XL in Women's.
All jerseys are final sale and due to the limited run, we are unable to accommodate exchanges.
